Create an Emotional Connection

Making an emotional connection is one of the best ways to motivate women to use your brand or service. To do this, you must provide content that women can relate to. On Facebook, Dove has grasped this concept perfectly. They understand that they need to connect emotionally to women and gain a relationship to build trust and to build fans. On January 5th, 2010 Dove added on their Facebook wall, "So many women start diets in the new year. How do you ensure that your diet and body image set a healthy example for the young girls in your life?"
Be personal with your customers; give them advice or comments that make them say, "Wow, that's me!" Ask them questions where they can create emotional connections with one another as well as your company and what it provides.
